As y'all may, or may not know, I'm of German descent. I was born near the city of München, Germany in 1983. While I grew up in America and live on the East Coast, I grow more and more sick & tired of American stupidity. >.< Believe me when I say that if I had the means to move back to Germany, I would do it without a second thought.
Anyways, on to the story. Yesterday at work, a driver gets weighed out. The site's truck scale measures in kilograms (kg) instead of pounds (lbs.). Naturally, the driver complains that this is America and the weights need to be in lbs. He then goes on to say that the site is German owned, which is true. I tried saying that in all of the times that I've worked at the site, the scale has always been in kg rather than lbs. The site employee said that wasn't always the case. The driver then goes on to say, "We won the war." >.< I was so close to saying, "Is that all you stupid Americans can think of when talking and/or thinking about Germany?!" *sighs and growls in frustration*
If you are American and a watcher of mine, please do not fall into this category. I will fight/defend my heritage.
